We don’t want to do nothing with what God gives us.

-Stop, look, and listen before you step out.

-Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

-Joshua 2:1 -They didn’t rush. God doesn’t want His people to rush.

-What mountain have you been on? Emotional, spiritual, physical, just being stuck in fear, distraction with the phone or other things?

• Our old self has died and we are made new in Christ. We are a NEW creation! 

-Our circumstances may look the say- but our mindsets have to change 

-A newer little tree is easy to get out once planted, but a tree with roots that has been growing for years is hard to get out.

-When you’re trying to get the word of God into your heart there are going to be distractions

-How do we renew our minds? Read the word, discipline, take every thought captive, communicate with God, people groups, journal, take things to him, renew=renovation,  include Jesus, walk, community, environment, trust, etc. 

-“You are the bride of Christ but yet you’re content to live without him”. We don't want to be content to live without Him.

Topic: Worry 

-If worry becomes your identity it will start to eat away at everything in your life. 

-Philippians 4:6 

-Be anxious for nothing. 

-Matthew 6:27

-We are not under the curse of the law anymore.

-We are under the shadow of His protection: Psalm 91.

-Most of the worry we get is from other people.

-What information is going into your heart?

-Worry steals your sleep, drains your joy, clouds your faith- therefore I refuse to worry

-Worry doesn’t change tomorrow. It only empties today of peace.

-God's word doesn’t deny challenges, but it teaches us how to go through them without fear.

-Worry is natural but it is not spiritual 

-Luke 10:41-42

-Who is a Martha? Jesus is saying if it isn’t perfect I don’t care it matters that I’m here.

-Mark 4:35

-We need to be calm enough that we can sleep through a storm.

-Can the storm obey us? Did it obey Jesus?

-What are you saying to the storm?

-Submitted- we submit everything to the Lord, not just the things we want to give.

-Consecrated: dedicated to the service of Jesus

-Galatians 2:20

-Possession: ownership and dominion

-Concern=Worry. Sometimes we change the word so it doesn’t sound so bad

-Courage=Brave, quality of mind or spirit that gives you what you need to face any situation without fear.

-John 17:6

-There are many opportunities to worry, but we have to make the decision to not worry.

-If we don’t know how to take action against worrying, we can easily fall into worrying again.

-If we know the Word but don’t act on the Word what’s the point?

-Action:

-I’m not going to let someone else’s actions or words towards me take the word out of my heart.

-When we are in worry we are only looking at our strength not Gods.
